Conflict Coaching allows practitioners to connect with students in ways that provide clarity and empowers their decision-making. In this live briefing, the presenters will introduce the practice of conflict coaching both by presenting theoretical frameworks that support it as well as their own knowledge acquired through years of training and professional experience. They will provide an overview of skills that are core to the practice of coaching. There are many common stumbling blocks, including leading a student to a certain solution or falling into judgement. The presenters will then explore these common pitfalls and offer strategies based in coaching best practice to overcome them.
Student affairs professionals of all levels with supervisory responsibilities are encouraged to attend this program!
