Healthy Colleges Montana

Health, Safety, and Well-being Mid-Level

For nearly 20 years, the formerly known Montana Collegiate Tobacco Prevention Initiative (MCTPI) has supported college and university efforts to reduce use and exposure to tobacco across the state. In 2017, the initiatives expanded its scope of work beyond tobacco to include additional chronic disease prevention areas of concern. With the expansion, the project name of MCTPI no longer accurately described the efforts of our campuses. Healthy Colleges Montana, or HCM, was selected by the coalition as the new project name.

Healthy Colleges Montana is managed by the Health, Safety, and Well-being Initiatives team of NASPA. Please email [email protected] with any inquiries.

About

HCM supports trainings and technical assistance, campus and community partnerships, and educational programming as we work towards making our campuses a safer space for students to live, work, learn, and grow.

Funded by the Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program (MTUPP) and staffed by The Health, Safety, & Well-being Initiatives of NASPA, HCM has nineteen participating Montana Campuses including:
