Higher education communities have identified various structures for identity based centers in efforts to provide better support to more and broader student populations. The presenters will share a hybrid structure that draws on the advantages of individual identity centers as well as those of a combined Center for Diversity & Inclusion model. Based on a multistage reorganization process that took over four years, the presenters will offer lessons learned and recommendations for working in effective, efficient, and intersectional manners.
