Leveraging Synchronous & Asynchronous Support Mechanisms to Cultivate Student Success

Virtual Engagement Events Student Success Orientation, Transition and Retention Technology

With institutional budgets tightening and the capacity of staff members being stretched, colleges and universities are exploring avenues to provide their students services in creative but intentional ways. Through the utilization of technology, staff members can innovate their programs to support a variety of learners. As online learning opportunities and at-a-distance student support become a larger focus within our institutions, practitioners must leverage technology to support both synchronous and asynchronous learners. Attendees of this session will learn about various retention programs housed within a learning management program that support students within the first six weeks of their enrollment.
