The CORE Blueprint is a compendium of evidence-based and expert-recommended practices in campus sexual violence prevention and response. Compiled by researchers and experts in advocacy, student affairs, higher education, policy and law, the CORE Blueprint is organized around six key areas – the six pillars – that are essential to an effective institutional strategy for ending sexual violence. The CORE Blueprint is designed for use with the CORE Evaluation, which allows institutions to determine how well their sexual violence prevention and response strategies align with the evidence-based and expert-recommended practices explicated in the CORE Blueprint.
This new 3rd edition, published November 2021, includes the newest research and emerging best practices related to sexual violence prevention and response. The 3rd edition also includes strategies to help institutions think beyond compliance and intentionally address the critical intersections between identity, power and oppression, and violence.
