The NASPA IV-W Regional Conference Planning Committee is looking forward to welcoming you to Wichita, Kansas the “Air Capital of the World”.
Wichita served as a trading center and meeting place for nomadic peoples in the region for 11,000 years until the first permanent settlement of Wichita Indians was documented in 1863. Since then, Wichita has remained a crossroads of the region and the country. From cattle drives and oil booms to aviation, the entrepreneurial spirit of Wichita continues to thrive.
Today, Wichita has grown into an eclectic city and industrial hub boasting some of the greatest arts and entertainment in the Midwest.
