Foundation Update

Region IV-W
November 5, 2020 Jerrid Freeman, Foundation Ambassadors

NASPA IV-West family, you are missed! While I saw many of your faces at the NASPA IV-West virtual conference and it was fantastic, I still want more than anything to see you all in person and enjoy conversations, a hug, and genuine smile. While NASPA may not be on the forefront of your mind during these tumultuous times, I find a great deal of happiness when I am reminded of all that NASPA has done for me and all the connections I have with my NASPA and IV-West friends and colleagues. You cannot recreate those friendships, that support, and the growth and development we get at conferences and our meetings.

I also wanted to take a moment to congratulate Laura E. Valdez, University of New Mexico for becoming a NASPA Pillar of the Profession in IV-West.  Please think about donating towards her nomination for Pillar of Profession, the link is provided below. There are also other Pillars of the Profession this year who have been members of the NASPA IV-West region over there career. Please think of supporting their nomination as well. Congratulations to all the NASPA Pillars of the Profession. These donations all count towards our regional donor goals as well.

We also ask that you think about giving even a small donation to the NASPA Foundation. Hereis the link to make any donation to the NASPA Foundation.   https://www.naspa.org/about/foundation/foundation-make-a-gift

Even a small amount makes a difference and will help us reach our regional donor goals. For those of you who have been a member of  NASPA for numerous years and consider NASPA your professional home, please think of making a donor pledge. I would love to talk with you anytime about making such a pledge and the commitment.

Thank you again for all your support and we need you now more than ever as we see strained financial times across our country.
