Region III John Jones Award for Outstanding Performance as a Senior Student Affairs Officer

The recipient of this award will be the Region III nominee for the Scott Goodnight Award for Outstanding Performance as a Dean* given at the national conference.

Required Criteria:

•       Demonstrated sustained professional achievement in student affairs work
•      Innovative response in meeting students' varied and emerging needs
•      Effectiveness in developing staff
•      Leadership in community and college or university affairs
•      Earned stature among and support of students, faculty, and fellow administrators on campus
•      Made significant contributions to the field through publications or involvement in professional associations.
•      Active individual NASPA membership

Preferred Criteria:

•      Must be a current member of NASPA Region III
•      High-level competency in administrative skills

Each nomination should include a letter of nomination, at least one (1) but no more than three (3) letters of support, and the nominee's resume and contact information.

Winners will be notified in March and the presentation of the awards will be in June 2023.
