Outstanding Peer Education Program Award

Health, Safety, and Well-being Health, Safety, and Well-being Initiatives Undergraduate
Application Deadline: September 21, 2018 | Award Type: division groups

Every year at our General Assembly, the BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA recognizes the most outstanding peer educators, advisors and programs of our network.

All award nominees will be featured during the pre-awards slideshow at the closing banquet.  Award winners are then selected and will receive recognition.  To ensure that we recognize your outstanding peer educators, advisors, programs and campuses correctly, please make sure to thoroughly review your submission.

Some individuals are not eligible for awards because of their volunteer roles with the BACCHUS Initiatives (e.g. Student Advisory Committee members and Regional Consultants).

Outstanding Peer Education Program Award

Awards will be given from those nominated programs that show creativity and overall effectiveness in campus awareness and education. Selected programs will represent the diversity of health and safety topics. You are free to discuss the number of attendees in your application, but please note that high attendance is not as important as the creativity and overall effectiveness of the program.

Note: In the past, there were many nominations from alcohol and sexual health programs.  We want to feature a diverse set of health and safety topics, so consider also submitting your outstanding tobacco, mental health, nutrition and physical activity programs.
