NASPA-AL Region III Summer Symposium Scholarship

NASPA Alabama seeks to support graduate students and new professionals to attend the NASPA Region III Conference each year through a scholarship award.

NASPA-Alabama was successful in selecting two awardees to attend the 2024 Region III Summer Symposium. This year, two scholarships for $500 (total of $1,000) were awarded to a new professional and a current graduate student to attend this year's regional conference in Orlando, Florida.

Congratulations to Damion White and Terrell Richardson as the 2024 NASPA Region II Summer Symposium Scholarship Recipients.

Damion White is an Assisant Director of Career Education at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Terrell Richardson is a Ph.D. candidate for The University of Alabama's School of Social Work.

 

Scholarship Award Criteria: 

  • All applicants must be either a current graduate student enrolled at an Alabama institution or a new professional currently working in Alabama with less than 5 years of experience in higher education. Current NASPA-AL Board members are not eligible to apply. 
  • Applicants are not required to be a current member of NASPA.
