For the first time in over 10 years, Ramadan will fall in the academic year for students across the world, beginning the first week of May. In order to best assist students in their experience on campus during the holiest month for Muslims, the Islamic Center at New York University will host a webinar to provide institutions of higher learning with best practices.

Learning Outcomes

By attending this session, participants will:

  • gain an understanding on the significance of Ramadan;
  • review the effect of the socio-political climate for Muslims on college campus; and
  • attain practical tools to support Muslim students during their holy month.
