In this hour long presentation, which serves as an introduction to the Resilient Living: A Guide to Foster Resilience and Live a More Thriving Life short course, Dr. Delvina Miremadi-Baldino will talk about the importance of resilience in a full, meaningful, thriving life. She will give insight into what the full five week course holds, and will also introduce a toolkit for schools to bring better wellness and resilence to their students.
Learning Outcomes
By engaging in this session, participants will:
- understand how the experience of stress can lead to burnout and mental health concerns;
- define the concept of resilience and learn how it can help mitigate stress; and
- recognize and apply evidence-based practices that have been proven to help individuals thrive.
