Disability Advocate of the Year

A NASPA Community Award

The Disability Knowledge Community (DKC) is excited to offer the 2021 Disability Advocate of the Year. The recipients of the 2020 awards will be announced during the DKC Business Meeting. 

The Disability Knowledge Community seeks to recognize a student affairs professional whose advocacy, leadership, research, or service champions access and inclusive excellence for students with disabilities in higher education. This individual contributes to the creation of a campus culture that advances disability and celebrates disability as a valued aspect of diversity. This award is in alignment with NASPA’s aim to champion social justice, access, and diversity initiatives.
