Robert D. Kelly is a higher education scholar-practitioner. Currently, he is the university vice president and special assistant to the president at Loyola University Maryland, his alma mater. He provides counsel for the president and coordinates initiatives across the institution in support of the strategic plan and institutional objectives and his research focuses on areas of administrative ethical decision making in higher education, transforming the college environment for student and institutional success and higher education leadership.
