Brian Plouffe, PhD is an assistant professor and program director of biomedical engineering at Regis College in Weston, MA. He received a PhD in chemical engineering from Northeastern University with a focus on application of nanotechnology in diagnostic and therapeutic medicine. He currently a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society, where he serves on the Education Committee, and the American Society for Engineering Education. His current research interests center on addressing mathematics and science underprepared students, particularly developing engaging classroom pedagogies that help to build STEM confidence and motivation.
