Bernard "Bernie" Schulz

Reviewer, Journal of Technology & Higher Education

Dr. Schulz has more than 25 years of experience in higher education administration at both public and private institutions spanning roles in Student Affairs, Academic Affairs Administration, and as a member of the Faculty.  He has a successful track record in leading and administering division and university-wide programs that are both innovative and student focused, particularly as it relates to technology. Recent scholarly presentations (e.g., AERA 2019) and in progress publications have focused on the restructuring of higher education governance in Virginia. He has contributed to Student Affairs professional publications by writing on current Higher Education policy issues and the changing conditions in supporting Fraternity/Sorority Life on college campuses. He also contributed to a chapter in New Realities in the Management of Student Affairs: Emerging Specialist Roles and Structures for Changing Times (Edited by Tull & Kuk, 2013), that addressed the Changing Roles and Responsibilities of the “Assistant To” the Vice President of Student Affairs.
