VPSA and AVP COVID-19 Colleague Conversations

Virtual Engagement Events AVP or "Number Two" Senior Level VP for Student Affairs

As campus leaders continue to address the COVID-19 challenges facing their institutions, NASPA remains committed to offering support to senior student affairs officers who are leading pandemic response efforts on their campuses. VPSA and AVP COVID-19 Colleague Conversations are opportunities for SSAOs to gather, learn from one another, crowdsource ideas about emerging challenges, and forecast in a peer community what might need attention and intervention in the coming days, weeks, and months as the pandemic continue to unfold. VPSA facilitators will bring some framing questions to the conversation and will be prepared to guide the discussion where attendees take it. We expect to offer these opportunities for SSAOs to gather with peers from like institutions every three weeks.

The next three VPSA and AVP COVID-19 Colleague Conversations are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET on each of the following Thursdays: July 2, July 23, and August 13. These conversations will be segmented by four institutional types: community colleges, small colleges and universities, public institutions with 5,000 or more students, and private institutions with 5,000 or more students.

Participation in these Colleague Conversations is limited to VPSAs and AVPs (and the equivalent) who are members of NASPA.
