On Friday December 20th, 2019, new legislation was passed to raise the minimum legal sales age of tobacco products from 18 to 21. In this live briefing, NASPA staff working in health, well-being, and peer education will discuss historical and current tobacco policies and the implications for institutions of higher education. This session will cover how to strategically design tobacco and nicotine free policies, taking into consideration the effects of COVID-19 on campus environments.
NASPA individual members and Voting Delegates have access to member pricing for all NASPA events. If you are not a NASPA individual member, please visit our membership section to learn more about membership types and benefits. In many cases, an annual NASPA membership plus the event member registration fee are still less than the event non-member registration fee. We hope you’ll consider joining today!
