NASPA Region V delivers professional development programs and other services throughout the region's seven states and two Canadian provinces. Region V's leadership is effective in responding to needs of the membership and continues to explore ways to improve regional offerings.

Announcing the Region v & women in Student Affairs (WISA) KC research grant

We are pleased to inform you about a $500 research grant available in 2010 to persons residing in Region V for current research on women. The purpose of the Region V/WISA research grant is to stimulate and support research relevant to women, women students, women in student affairs, and/or women in higher education.


Please download the one-page Request for Proposal (RFP). We encourage you to apply and/or forward this information to your colleagues, graduate and doctoral students, and other Region V members. All applicants must reside within Region V and be current NASPA members. The deadline to submit the RFP is Friday, September 17th, 2010.


The winner will be selected and notified by Monday, October 4, 2010. One selected grantee will be honored with a $500 award. In addition, registration to the NASPA Western Regional Conference in Portland, OR will be waived and the winner will have the opportunity to present his/her research during a special session.
