Located in Downtown Washington, DC, the new 13-story Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol is in a prime location just one metro rail stop from Union Station - the transportation hub of our nation's capital and home to Amtrak. We are located just one block from the New York Ave/Florida Ave/Gallaudet University red line metro station. Our District of Columbia Hilton Garden Inn is within easy reach of the U.S. Capitol, National Mall, The Whitehouse, Chinatown, Dupont Circle, Washington DC Convention Center and the Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA).

Travel Information

Train
Washington, DC, is serviced by Amtrak via Union Station. If you are traveling via Union Station, it is a cab ride to the Institute hotel. You can also take the Metro to the hotel which will cost less than $3 and is convenient if you do not have much luggage. Union Station & the hotel are on the red line.

Air
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport, but visitors may also use Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). For information about ground transportation, please visit each of the airport's Websites.

Attire

The dress for NASPA events is business casual.

Weather

Temperatures in Washington, DC, in October tend to be in the 50s and 60s. Remember to pack an umbrella in case of rain, and visit The Weather Channel to check the forecast before you travel.
