HOW TO JOIN THE
STUDENT-ATHLETE KC

Step 1: Login to the Members Only section of the NASPA website by providing your email and password in the login box above.

Step 2: Click on Update Profile below your name and membership information, which will bring you to your NASPA membership profile.

 

Step 3: Click on Edit Information and scroll to the bottom of the Edit My Information page.

 

Step 4: Select the "Student-Athlete" KC and hit Save at the bottom of the page.

 

That's all there is to it!

 

KC members receive emails from the KC chairs. Please note that signing up for a KC listserv is a separate process. To sign up for a KC listserv, email the NASPA office and specify which listserv you would like to join. There are listservs for all 27 KCs!

 

 

 

 

At its Winter 2012 meeting, the NASPA Board of Directors approved the establishment of the Association's 27th and newest KC, the Student-Athlete Knowledge Community!  The KC's founding co-chairs are Mary Anne Nagy, Vice President for Student and Community Services and Interim Vice President for University Advancement at Monmouth University and Robert Gatti, Vice President of Student Affairs at Otterbein University.  The purpose of the SAKC is to create and advance knowledge in higher education specific to how partnerships among athletics, student affairs and other campus entities could enhance the well-being of all students, including student-athletes.  The KC will conduct its inaugural business meeting during NASPA's 2013 Annual Conference, Bold Without Boundaries:
