National Conference for College Women Student Leaders

Leadership for Today and Tomorrow

The National Conference for College Women Student Leaders offers young women a unique opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and explore life options while attending a two-day conference in the Washington, D.C. area. Held annually in June, the conference provides participants with the opportunity to meet, network, and interact with nationally prominent Women of Distinction and students from across the country. Students also have the opportunity to select workshops to attend on a variety of topics, including advocacy, leadership development, health and wellness, and “real world” issues such as financial literacy and post-college life. This conference provides the perfect opportunity for students to hone their leadership skills for their work on campus and in their communities. Your students will return to campus empowered and energized to implement change. We ask that you not only encourage your students to attend, but also sponsor and support them financially. Discounts are available for campuses that send multiple students.

Submit a Workshop Proposal
Discounts to attend the 2013 NCCWSL Conference are provided for presenters.  We ask for adult lead presenters to have work experience and proposals featuring all student presenters will not be accepted.  General interest sessions will last 75 minutes and proposals are due by February 11, 2013.  All workshops will be held on Friday, May 31.

Volunteer as a Workshop Reviewer
Sign-ups for workshops reviewers has closed as of February 11, 2013. Volunteer workshop reviewers are responsible for reviewing no more than five-seven workshop proposals and all workshop reviews are completed online. Less experienced reviewers should allow for 20-30 minutes per review while more experienced reviewers may require less time. If you are planning to submit a workshop, you can still be a reviewer. Program reviewers will not review their own proposals.
