Research and Scholarship Agenda
for the Student Affairs Profession
prepared by the NASPA Task Force for Research & Scholarship

The Research Division was founded based on NASPA's core value of "spirit of inquiry" and commitment to the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The Division supports research on postsecondary education and postsecondary students – on topics of interest to NASPA members and the student affairs community as a whole. The Division also provides links to the latest research, reports and resources.
Mission
To promote NASPA's core value of spirit of inquiry and advance knowledge creation and dissemination in the fields of student affairs and higher education in order to keep NASPA members up to date on the most current scholarship related to postsecondary education and postsecondary students.
Goals
- to establish research needs and priorities.
- To work with national organizations on collaborative research projects.
- To support research efforts of NASPA members.
- To research trends in postsecondary education.
- To research trends related to postsecondary students.
- To research trends in the field.
