Schedule Highlights:
The conference officially opens Sunday evening, March 9 and closes by noon on Wednesday, March 12. The Placement Exchange will be open Thursday, March 6 through Sunday, March 9. Pre-Conference workshops will be held on Saturday, March 8 in the afternoon and all day on Sunday, March 9. Click here to view a preliminary schedule.
What are the Conference Hotels?:
The 2008 Conference will take place at the Hynes Convention Center, and two adjoining Hotels: The Marriott Copley Place and the Boston Sheraton. Also included in our block of hotels is the Boston Hilton Back Bay, which is located directly across the street from the Hynes Convention Center. The Marriott and Sheraton are connected via enclosed walkways.

How early can I book my hotel?:
October 1st, 2007. You must be registered for the Conference in order to reserve a hotel room in the conference block. Hotel reservations can be made online, via phone, fax, or mail.
I want to extend my stay - what are the effective dates for the conference hotel rate?:
Rates are available three days prior to and three days after the official dates of the conference if the hotel has availability.
Is there a primary hotel?:
No. The Hynes Convention Center will host most program sessions, pre-conference workshops and featured speakers. Both the Marriott and Sheraton will host regional suites and all ancillary events (i.e., association meetings/receptions and institutional meetings/receptions, and special events). The NASPA President suite and all regional suites will be assigned prior to the opening of Hotel registration on October 1st.
When can I make a request for a special meeting or reception?:
Requests for meeting and reception space will be accepted beginning August 1, 2007 through November 1, 2007. Please check the Meetings/Receptions link on the web for additional information.
How many attendees are expected?:
We anticipate over 3,000 colleagues will attend the NASPA Conference.
Are airline discounts being offered? What is the easiest way to get from the airport to the hotels?:
There are no airline discounts available at this time for the NASPA Conference. The most economical way to/from the airport will be the shared vans. Cost for a shuttle to the conference hotels is approximately $12-$15 one way. Click here for airport transportation. A shuttle discount coupon will be available online at a later date.
I'd like to get involved in the 2008 NASPA Conference. How can I volunteer?:
There are many opportunities for volunteers - and we welcome your assistance. When you register for the conference, indicate yes you are interested in volunteering and you will receive additional information in October.
