More about RSS...

You have many programs (known as 'aggregrators' or 'news readers') to choose from to read RSS feeds, including:

What is RSS?

RSS, or "Really Simple Syndication," is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites. In short, RSS is a simple listing of headlines and descriptions that can be used in two primary ways: by users who have installed RSS software to read RSS feeds; and by websites wishing to 'publish' or display them.

Based on the XML data format, RSS is a terrific way to add NASPA headlines and news to your site. By using our RSS feeds, you'll be able to display the latest NASPA news, events and NetResults' story descriptions on your own Web pages, in real time.

If you have questions about using NASPA's RSS feeds on your site, please contact John Kennedy.

The NASPA office is asking all listserv members to post open position descriptions at The Placement Exchange: Online at www.theplacementexchange.org in place of listservs.  While KC listservs are a popular channel to share knowledge and resources we receive requests from members to be taken off the listservs due to e-mails about job postings. Please refrain from posting job descriptions over the listserv.

Please contact Nathan Victoria, Assistant Director of Educational Programs and Social Media, with any questions regarding The Placement Exchange.
